Celebrate‚ a date in history with this personalised jigsaw puzzle featuring the front page of the telegraph newspaper on a date of your choice as early as 1855 up to 2016.

These fascinating jigsaws are individually created using high quality mono reproductions taken from original, and increasingly rare, archive editions dating as far back as 1855. What in the world was happening on that special day? Simply choose a date and you will be 400 pieces away from finding out! Your jigsaw puzzle also includes a newspaper shaped jigsaw puzzle piece at the centre!

An ideal and prestigious gift for any special date or event: birth dates, anniversaries, weddings, retirements.

In June 1855, The Daily Telegraph and Courier‚ was founded by Colonel Arthur B. Sleigh in June. In 1937, The Telegraph merged with a rival to become The Daily Telegraph and Morning Post‚. In 1961, the Sunday Telegraph was launched. In 1969, The Daily Telegraph and Morning Post‚ was then changed back to The Daily Telegraph. Please take note of these name changes, as the date of your choice may feature a slightly different name depending on the year. From 1986 onwards, the Daily Telegraph is printed in colour.

Completed 400-piece millboard jigsaw measures 32 x 47cm and hand-finished by our expert craftspeople.

Your jigsaw will arrive in an attractive presentation box, which, for that added personal touch, contains an area on the box lid allowing you to write your own message to the recipient.

PLEASE NOTE:

Also note that any date prior to 24th April 1939 will show a front cover that features a list of classified advertisements (i.e. old-fashioned births, deaths and marriages etc.) and not the common news format we see today.‚

To help complete each puzzle, a full-size guide image of the front cover is included.

If your date lands on a Sunday after 1961, you will be presented with The Sunday Telegraph. There was no Sunday Telegraph before 1961.
