Description
This jigsaw puzzle is a reproduction of an original painting by artist Gill Erskine-Hill, painted under her former name of Gillian Mitchell.
It shows an idyllic English landscape view of a wooded valley, with sheep grazing in the foreground, a patchwork of fields in the background and, hanging precariously in the sky beneath the clouds, a hot air balloon. It is a scene of rural bliss, with the unusual addition of a balloon drifting overhead, and it makes a jigsaw puzzle which is a joy to assemble and to complete.
Gill Erskine-Hill is a well-known English landscape artist as well as an established portrait painter.
