Incredibly Difficult Jigsaw Puzzles

Over the past few weeks, with the steep rise in popularity of jigsaws, we have seen some incredibly difficult jigsaw designs appear all over the internet. We’ve rounded up some of our favourites to make our very own Top 5 Incredibly Difficult Jigsaw Puzzles!

  1. Natural Grass 1000 piece Impuzzible

It flies off the shelf faster than we can stock it… It’s our 1000 piece Natural Grass - Impuzzible Number 7! We’re not sure if people buy an 1000 piece puzzle of a patch of grass because they are a glutton for punishment or if they are gifted to unsuspecting relatives who once said they enjoyed jigsaw puzzles? But we do know it’s an incredibly difficult jigsaw puzzle, you might even say it’s Impuzzible!

  1. Perspex 144 piece jigsaw puzzle

We were sent a link to an article about this incredibly intricate Perspex jigsaw puzzle in a variety of sizes. It’s made by an independent Etsy seller who cuts the see-through pieces with care and precision to make one of a kind, quality jigsaw puzzles.

  1. World’s smallest jigsaw 234 piece 4 inches wide

Claiming to be the World’s Smallest Jigsaw Puzzle, this 234 piece jigsaw is die-cut and only 4 by 6 inches in size - that’s the same size as a standard photograph! To help their puzzlers complete the tiny challenge, each jigsaw comes complete with a pair of plastic tweezers!

  1. White Hell 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle

Coming in at number 2 is the “White Hell” 2000 S-Piece jigsaw puzzle. The pieces are smaller than a standard jigsaw, but that’s the least of your worries! All 2000 pieces in this jigsaw are completely white! No image to follow, no pattern and no reference – you’re on your own with this mammoth challenge.

  1. 40,320 piece Making Mickey’s Magic Puzzle by Ravensburger

At a finished size of 270 x 78 inches, this puzzle is definitely not for the faint hearted! Ravensburger gave this puzzle a difficulty rating of “Ultra Extreme” and it’s not hard to see why. With over 40,000 pieces to contend with, finding a table big enough is problem number one on a list of 100 problems!
