Once
your image has been uploaded it is not possible to change
either the image or the delivery details
What
sort of picture do you need to send us?
You
can send your picture on-line by uploading to this web site
using the form above - just follow the instructions, or
you can send your original photograph (do not send scanned
or photocopied images as the quality will not be high enough)
in the post.
If
you upload your pictures, or send a CD, you can do that
directly from your camera or your computer. If possible
save the picture at around 300 dpi (dots per inch), that
is the resolution we work at. If you crop your picture before
sending it, then try to have the picture size in the ratio
of 25:19; we can work well from a 25cm x 19cm image. If
your image is not to these proportions, we will, at our
experienced discretion, crop to fit our template or, where
this is not possible, fill with a plain coloured border.
Do
not send digital images taken from websites (including Facebook)
as the quality is likely to be very low and some may infringe
copyright law. Avoid using images that have been sent to
you by email as the quality may well have been compressed.
You can check the size of your images on your computer,
and you should ensure that the image size is at least 500kb
(we can work with images over 200kb but sometimes the quality
is not as good as we would hope).
The
best file formats to use are jpg, jpeg, tiff and pdf. Try
to avoid sending Powerpoint files, and if you need to send
a bmp file, please be aware that the quality is a lot lower
for the size of file than other graphics file types. Please
do not send Word files (doc), Playstation files or images
created on little known software.
If
you are posting photographs, send only high quality prints
(no larger than A5) and not photocopies or scans. You can
also send negatives. Please be aware that we return your
pictures or negatives by 1st Class post with your jigsaw.
If your picture is larger than A5, it will not fit into
the jigsaw box so please send a large enough stamped addressed
envelope, or £1.00 postage stamps to cover return
1st class postage to you.
The
best quality picture will make into the best print quality
jigsaws. We always produce to a very high standard, but
the outcome will always depend on the quality of the original
picture. Please remember that your small picture is greatly
enlarged, and small imperfections, such as out of focus,
low resolution, or over exposed pictures, enlarge as well.
Please note the finished size of your chosen jigsaw and
that we may have to crop, losing some picture detail, or
add in borders to your picture to fit that size.

Delivery
of your finished personalised jigsaw.
The
manufacturing process begins when we receive your picture.
Once manufactured, your jigsaw is posted by Royal Mail 1st
Class post. It is packed in a specially designed box and
outer so that it can be posted through a standard
post/letter box at your home. If you have a smaller sized
letter box, or if there is no one at home when the postman
calls, a Post Office card will be left and the puzzle taken
to your local sorting office for your collection. You should
normally receive your puzzle within 7 working days (excluding
weekends), although at Christmas time this will be extended
to around 10 days.
